How It Works

Dining Centers offer seniors age 60 and older the opportunity to eat a nutritious meal and socialize with their fellow seniors.

Eligibility

  • Participants must be at least 60 years old
  • Married to an eligible participant
  • The handicapped child of an eligible participant
  • Resident in a housing facility occupied primarily by the elderly at which nutrition services are provided

Locations:

Meals are served at the following Senior Centers (no reservations required):

  • Meridian
  • Star
  • Eagle
  • Kuna
  • Boise
  • Glenns Ferry
  • Mountain Home

Meals are also served at the following locations, but reservations must be made by 4:00 p.m. the day before you wish to eat at these facilities:

  • Garden City Senior Center
  • Northgate Senior Village
  • Samaritan Village Apartments

Cost

The suggested donation is $4.00 per meal. Persons under the age of 60 will be charged $6.00 per meal.
