How It Works
Dining Centers offer seniors age 60 and older the opportunity to eat a nutritious meal and socialize with their fellow seniors.
Eligibility
- Participants must be at least 60 years old
- Married to an eligible participant
- The handicapped child of an eligible participant
- Resident in a housing facility occupied primarily by the elderly at which nutrition services are provided
Locations:
Meals are served at the following Senior Centers (no reservations required):
- Meridian
- Star
- Eagle
- Kuna
- Boise
- Glenns Ferry
- Mountain Home
Meals are also served at the following locations, but reservations must be made by 4:00 p.m. the day before you wish to eat at these facilities:
- Garden City Senior Center
- Northgate Senior Village
- Samaritan Village Apartments
Cost
The suggested donation is $4.00 per meal. Persons under the age of 60 will be charged $6.00 per meal.
