Good Deeds

The Meals On Wheels program of the Central District Health Department would like to thank Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU) for donating nearly $520 through its "Coins That Care" program.

Coins That Care tokens are given to ICCU members every time they bring coins in to be run through the coin counting machines for deposit to their accounts. Members then vote for which nonprofit organization they would like to see Idaho Central donate to by dropping their coin in one of two containers at each branch. The program is designed to bring attention and exposure to small, but meaningful organizations in local communities.

Manager of the Idaho Central Credit Union at 10990 Fairview Avenue, Lori Gull, made the check presentation to the Meals On Wheels program.

The Meals On Wheels program delivers hot nutritious meals to more than 600 homebound seniors in Ada and Elmore counties every week day.
